The lyrics for the track were written by Bekuh Boom and Vince, with music being composed by them alongside 24 and R. Tee. Commercially, the song peaked at number ten on the Billboard Global 200 and number seven on the Global Excl. U.S., as well as number 90 on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming the longest-charting song by a K-pop soloist on all three charts. It also topped the charts in Malaysia and figured within the record charts of 26 countries.
